Sam Show Athlete Ambassador Spotlight

Show is a standout two-way player for the Texas Smoke, the second-ever professional sports team in Austin, Texas, and the fourth franchise in Women’s Professional Fastpitch (WPF).

Show starred as a college athlete at Oklahoma State before turning her eyes toward professional softball. She holds the single-season home run record with 20 home runs and was an All American in 2019. In 2017 and 2018, she was recognized as NFCA’s All-South Region First Team as well as the SEC’s Pitcher of the Week in February 2017. 

Congrats to Sam on being named a recent WPF Player Of The Week!  During that time, Show slashed .364/.500/1.091 (BA/OBP/SLG) while also being a menace in the circle, fanning 8, with an ERA of 2.34.
